[FreeRTOS Home] [Live FreeRTOS Forum] [FAQ] [Archive Top] [July 2011 Threads] the system reboots automatically each 2min.Posted by black flowers on July 25, 2011 i have a problem with freertos. i have myprogra running propperly but the problem is that it's rebooting automaticaly each 2 min. And it happens whatever i've got in the main() function. Even when i only got this in the main():
int main( void ) { vTaskStartScheduler(); return 0; }
Is there a reason why it's is rebooting automatically? Or am i commiting a mistake anywhere in my code which makes the system crash.
RE: the system reboots automatically each 2min.Posted by Richard Damon on July 26, 2011 Could there be a watchdog timer expiring?
Could you have something in the IdleHook that blocks (that will crash FreeRTOS)?
Is your hardware stable? What happens if you go into an infinite loop before calling vTaskStartScheduler().
RE: the system reboots automatically each 2min.Posted by Richard on July 26, 2011 Naturally there is a reason it is resetting every two minutes, but I don't want to get into a guessing game. Wastes my time and yours.
