Is a port planned for Cortex-R4(F) devices? I am particularly curious about the TI TMS570LS series.
Thanks and regards, Geza
RE: Port for Cortex-R4(F)Posted by Richard on January 15, 2011 The Halcogen software for the TMS570 ships with FreeRTOS, and has a FreeRTOS wizard, as far as I know:

Regards.
RE: Port for Cortex-R4(F)Posted by Geza Balazs on January 15, 2011 I think HalCoGen is part of Code Composer Studio. I want to stick to IAR. I have read the Cortex-R4 manual, the programming seems to be almost the same on the CPU side as ARM7TDMI (regarding the registers and operating modes), the port needs to be extended by the FPU part only. If you have no plan to do this, it won't be rocket science for me to do it as well.
Thanks, Geza
