[FreeRTOS Home] [Live FreeRTOS Forum] [FAQ] [Archive Top] [January 2007 Threads] What´s the frequency of workPosted by Nobody/Anonymous on January 11, 2007 HI
I would like to undestand one thing in the scheduler. The interrupt for the context switch or not happens periodicaly with certain frequency.
What is that frequency ? How do you define the Tick frequency it can´t be happening with top frequency because otherwise the processor would always be in the scheduler interrupt.
What´s the Tick frequency and how is it defined?

RE: What´s the frequency of workPosted by Nobody/Anonymous on January 11, 2007 Hi Again
So when in the Test results you have:
Scheduler tick function 66.2μs with optimization. 68.4μs with no optimization.
That is the time the secheduler takes to make the context switch between to threads running?
