Is it possible, or are there any experiences in using the Raisonance tools (Ride7, RKit-ARM, RLink JTAG-Adapter) and of course FreeRTOS on the Keil evaluation boards MCBSTM32 and/or MCB2388 ?
The boards seem to be interesting, but the free RealView MDK-ARM Evaluation Tools seem to be too limited for evaluation together with FreeRTOS.
Thanks, Ralf
RE: Keil Eval.boards with Raisonance ToolchaiPosted by Dave on February 17, 2009 If you are using an R Link or an FTDI interface I don't see any reason why it would not work. Did you check the Raisonance forums? I think they are quite active.
RE: Keil Eval.boards with Raisonance ToolchainPosted by Ralf Anders on February 17, 2009 There seems to be no problem with MCBSTM32, but Ride does not support LPC2388. In the mean time I found a an interesting FreeRTOS port "NXP LPC2368 with Eclipse and GCC development tools". The catch is the "Macraigor Wiggler compatible JTAG interface". -> Parallel port !
Could this be the alternative solution: http://elmicro.com/de/armjtag.html (ARM-USB-OCD by olimex)
German language, but the pics are selfexplaining.

RE: Keil Eval.boards with Raisonance ToolchaiPosted by Richard on February 17, 2009 More recently I have successfully used http://www.amontec.com/jtagkey-tiny.shtml with OpenOCD on an LPC2000.
Regards.
