Migrate from FreeRTOS 8.0 to 8.2.2 with TCP Demo

Posted by mbparsa on August 8, 2016

I have given a project that has been developed on top of FreeRTOS demo CLI 8.0 and now we want to use TCP demo and TCP functionality to it, what is the best way to do it? there has been changes between two version of FreeRTOS and some changes to the demo CLI 8.0 by previous developer. Please advise

Should I try to upgrade it to 8.2.2 first and then add TCP on it or otherway around?

Which architecture are you using? We may have a suitable demo.

I am using a zynq board with sdk 2014.1, we had FreeRTOS CLI 8.0 Demo and now we would like to add TCP functionality on top of it.

I'm not sure what FreeRTOS CLI 8.0 is - are you talking about FreeRTOS+CLI (http://www.freertos.org/CLI), which is on version 1.0.4.

In any case, there is a Zynq demo with TCP here: http://www.freertos.org/FreeRTOS-Plus/FreeRTOSPlusTCP/TCPIPFATExamplesXilinxZynq.html
