Hi,
Before I start a porting effort, I am wondering if there are any projects in the works to move the FreeRTOS examples to the new HAL drivers provided by the new STM Cube software that was recently released.
Thanks,
Eric
There is a plan to add the STM Cube platform into the 'third party BSPs' section of the FreeRTOS website - which will involve creating some projects with it, but that is scheduled for a few weeks time.
The files shipped by ST do already contain FreeRTOS projects that make use of the drivers though. In particular their big demonstration projects (the ones that come on the eval boards) that show off everything are included as buildable projects in the STM32 cube download - so maybe you could use one of those as a starting point rather than trying to port yourself?
Regards.
Ahh, I see. I was unaware there were FreeRTOS examples included with their release. Thanks for the information.
Cheers,
Eric
